On Friday, June 13, 2025, the Wurst Friday Brass Band March Music Competition will bring the vibrant sounds of British-style brass banding to the heart of Amana, Iowa. Inspired by the UK’s famous Whit Friday march competitions, this American counterpart celebrates the same spirited tradition of brass bands performing their best in a series of judged events. The competition will take place across three iconic locations in the Amana Colonies: the Festhalle Barn, the Market Barn, and the Millstream Brewing Company stage. Starting at 6:00 PM and wrapping up around 8:00 PM, this lively event will showcase top-notch brass bands in a festive atmosphere.
